Green Team launches "Don't Be a Copy Cat" Campaign

Poster by Alara.

As part of our long term sustainability goals, the Green Team has launched our "Don't Be a Copy Cat" campaign to help remind all students, teachers and staff to think twice before making copies.  We are promoting the use of electronic documents, of printing multiple pages per sheet and of reusing all paper that is only printed on one side.  There is an enormous amount of paper recycled each day, and recycling is good.  However, reducing is even better!  Teachers are being encouraged to take paper from the "Scrap Paper Boxes" around the photocopiers to use for a variety of purposes.  Make a habit of keeping all paper that can still be used on one side so you can use it again....
  • For a grocery list;
  • For a note to a teacher;
  • For to-do lists;
  • To take notes at meetings;
  • For scratch paper;
  • For kids' drawing paper.... etc.
Remember, Reduce, NO EXCUSE!!
